Do Your Research: Before signing with a modeling agency or representative overseas, be sure and check and doublecheck their credentials to make sure they are above board. Also, be wary of anyone who insists that you pay any “visa fees” or other fees up front.
Reap the Benefits: Modeling in another country can be very rewarding. Models will be able to gain invaluable experience, compile numerous tear sheets for their book, make new friends, and visit some of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world.

The March of Dimes Foundation Celebrates 75th Anniversary

White Plains, New York (February, 2013) – This year, the March of Dimes Foundation celebrates 75 years of helping mothers achieve full-term pregnancies and researching the issues that affect the health of infants. As a nonprofit organization, the March of Dimes relies on its many supporters, including former national ambassador Morgan Brittany, to continue with its mission.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), nearly 500,000 babies in the United States—which equates to one out of eight infants—are born prematurely each year. Approximately 23 million babies around the world are affected by birth defects and premature birth, while more than 4 million die as a result of these conditions.
Since 1938, the March of Dimes has helped provide medical resources and educational materials to mothers and caregivers regarding how to achieve both optimal perinatal health and full-term pregnancies.
